Founded in 2002, Target-In Ltd. stems from over two decades of research and expertise in chimeric toxins at the US National Institute of Health and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Since then, pioneering technology and strategic direction have led Target-In to a recognized position of leadership in the development of apofusions - a unique, patented platform based on targeted cell-suicide technology.
The technology, whereby a genetically engineered human protein mimics natural cell elimination by suicide induction, is the foundation of Target-In's offering. The Company combines world-class researchers and leading experts in the scientific, medical, and pharmaceutical fields, with a skilled and experienced management team.
Target-In's R&D activities are supported by a broad intellectual property portfolio encompassing six families of patents, all applied through the PCT, with several patents already issued in the U.S. and Europe. Target-In's comprehensive research and pre-clinical trials have resulted in successful collaborative projects with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, working towards a cure for various diseases.
