Product Pipeline
The preclinical product pipeline consists of several families of compounds, with each family based on a different type of human targeting molecule to which various apoptosis-inducing molecules may be fused. In addition to TI103, Target-In has developed
apofusions with a range of targeting and apoptotic components, including cytokines, growth factors, hormones, and monoclonal antibody fragments. Apoptotic protein components include the Bcl-2 family, proteases and nucleases.
Target-In's lead candidate stems from the TI-1 series. TI103 is planned for clinical testing in CTCL patients in 2009, with selected additional compounds (GnRH-based apofusions) to be developed in-house until human proof of effect and industrial manufacturability is established. Additional apofusions have been out-licensed to strategic partners, including an anti-leukemia application, and treatment of allergy and asthma.
